Highest for Eight Years Sydney, May 6. Australia has experienced the most successful wool-selling season since 1928-29. The fact is revealed in the annual review of XVinchcombe, Carson Ltd., wool-brok-ers, Sydney. Prices during 1936-37,’they state, wen. 15 per cent, higher than in the previous year and 60 per cent, above prices m 1934-35. The wool sold in Australia during the past season was worth approximately £62.000,000 in Australian currency. The United States bought more than double the quantity of wool this year that it bought in 1935-36.
