Last Year’s Results Dominion Special Service. Dunedin, May 6. The directors of the Dunedin Brewery aud Wilson Malt Extract Co., Ltd., in their annual report, state that the net profit for the year, after deducting beer duty, depreciation on various assets, directors’ fees, rates, insurance, etc., is £591.7/1/7. To this .has to be added the sum of £62/14/3 brought forward from last year, making £5979/15/10. From this has to be deducted £1250 for the interim dividend, leaving a balance of £4729/15/10. The directors recommend that this amount be appropriated as follows: — Provision for payment of income tax, £2585/15/6; pay a final dividend of 3>} per cent, (making 6 per cent, for the rear), £1750; balance to be carried forward. £394/0/4. Income tax paid during the year was greater than that provided for. This amount has been met from this year's profits. Stock lias been very carefully taken and. at a fair valuation. stands at £9444, compared with £7361 last year.
