Wellington Business Brisk AUSTRALIANS FIRMER I firmer tone in Australian industrials was the principal feature in the markets on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday. Broken Hill Proprietary held their'recent gains, and sales were made at 84/-. Electrolytic Zinc, preference, moved up to business at 60/-, and Mount Lyel s were active at up to 4</6. Colonial Sugars firmed to £45/15/-, and Australian Glass were stronger at 50/6. G. J. Coles sold to £t>/10/-, with later business nt £5/9/-. Woolworths (N.Z.) maintained their higher level and the Sydney issue had business at £</</-. Government loans were fully firm, but banks were neglected. New Zealand industrials were dull.
