WOMAN STRUCK BY TRAM

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 6. Knocked down by a tram in Queen Street, Mrs. A. Morris, aged 71, Gisborne, who was staying at Avondale, suffered concussion and head injuries The accident occurred near an intersection, the tram being an outwardbound one for Avondale. Mrs. Morris was thrown heavily to the ground and when the tram stopped she was lying across the rails in front of the vehicle, ’(’be injured woman was taken to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition is reported to lie fairly serious.
