Run Over by Rake of Trucks By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, April 21. Thomas H. Lightfoot, a middle-aged shunter employed in the Christchurch railway goods yards, was killed at 6.30 p.m. to-day when he was run over by a rake of trucks and a CO class engine in the yards. He died before lie could be extricated from beneath the tender of rhe engine, which had to be jacked up tc remove tlie body. Lightfoot was working on a rake of trucks moving in the opposite direction when he stepped off and was apparently caught by tlie foremost truck of tlie rake which tlie engine was pushing on the next track.
