Wellington.—Dull but pleasant, with a light northerly wind. Minimum temperature on Monday night, 53deg.; maximum yesterday. 65.9; temperature at 3.30 p.m. yesterday. 58.9 deg. Rainfall at “The Dominion” building 'for 24 hours ended 11 p.m., ,55in. Total for the month, ,77in.; for the year, 10.55 in. Palmerston North. —IVarin aud sunny, with light north-east wind; light rain fell at night. Masterton. —Fine with passing clouds; practically no wind. Wanganui.—Bright sunshine in the morning, but later heavily overcast, with rain showers in the early evening; a light westerly breeze, Napier and Hastings.—Cloudy and overcast, with misty rain setting in toward the middle of the afternoon. Mild temperatures. VVaipiikurau.—Another frost in the morning, followed by a dull day. A warm shower fell in the late afternoon, but the weather cleared again. Auckland. —Cloudy and showery, with a light north-easterly wind. The rain was misty in the early morning, but there were several heavy showers about noon and conditions were threatening in the evening. The barometer fell steadily in the afternoon to 29.50 in. at 6 p.m. Christchurch. —Fine with sunshine and passing clouds. A moderate north-east breeze was blowing. The barometer fell slowly during the day and registered 29.50 in. at 5 p.m. Dunedin. —There was a slight breeze from t'io north-east, but the sun shone throughout the day, and the temperature rose to 68 degrees. The barometer continued to fall and the evenihg rending was 29.45 in.
