Dream of Husband’s Death Kipling, .who rather despised people who seek “psychical experiences,” might not have appreciated the strange dream that led Mrs. Elizabeth Harris to her dead husband. The couple Jived at Easton, Pennsylvania, and the husband was working at Newark on the construction of a new railway station. His work kept him from home except at the weekends. On the Monday morning before his death Mr. Harris hade good-bye to his wife, promising to telephone on his arrival at Newark. She heard nothing from him alt day, and at night dreamed he was dead. She went to Newark, first inquiring at the house where lie lodged. He was not there, and with the police she went to the house of a friend who was in hospital. They forced open the door and found Mr. Harris lying dead on the floor. Doctors reported that he had collapsed from heart failure some hours before his wife dreamed of his death.
