Fixtures for Saturday Week UNITED CLUB DISBANDS The management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union, at its weekly meeting last night, arranged the following senior fixtures for Saturday week: — SENIOR .A First division: Wellington College Old Boys v. Eastbourne; Hutt v. Petone, at Hutt; Athletic v. Marist Brothers’ Old Boys, ground to be arranged; Poneke v. Wellington, ground to be arranged. Second division: Oriental v. Miramar, Polo Ground; St. Patrick’s College Old Boys v. Institute, Prince of Wales Park; University v. Wellington, Kelburu Park; Pirates v. Johnsonville, Athletic Park (early). ■ '’ SENIOR B. University v. Marist Brothers’ Old Boys, at Anderson Park; Wellington College Ohl Boys v. Onslow, at Nairnvillc Park; Petone v. Hutt A, Petone; Eastbourne v. Wellington, at Kilbirnie; Porirua v. Poneke, at Porirua, Club Disbanded, A deputation irom the United Football Club waited upon the committee, and stated that at a general meeting of members last week it had been reluctantly decided to disband the club owing to lack of support and scarcity of members. The Pirates club wrote withdrawing its fourth grade team from the competition, as the players found it difficult to pay travelling expenses. Dr. B. J. Dudley was appointed medical officer for the union at Lower Hutt. The Upper Hutt club asked if the union would pay £2 for a groundsman at , the Quinn’s Post ground for the season. It was decided to reply in the affirmative. The Upper Hutt club asked what refund of travelling expenses the union would allow its lower grade teams travelling to Lower Hutt, Petone and Wellington. It was decided to reply that the union would pay railway •fares.. Sixth and Seventh Grades. On the recommendation of the junior advisory committee, it was decided that a beginning be not made with the sixth and seventh grade club championship matches until the restrictions in connection with the infantile paralysis epidemic have been lifted by the Health Department. The junior advisory committee notified that the following members would look after the interests of the lower grades this season :—Junior I, Mr. F. Bezzant; Junior 11, Mr. D. AL Eckhoff; Third I, Mr. C. F. Hester; Third II find Third If. Mr. A. W. Cooper: Fourth, Mr. W. S. Keegan ; Fifth and Sixth, Mr. W. R. King; Seventh, Air. W. S. Keegan. Transfers. The following transfers were granted: A. R. Holden, from Karori to Wellington College Old Boys; G. AV. Zane, from Hutt to Poneke; V. Paino, from Marist Brothers’ Old Boys to St. Patrick’s College Old Boys; F. Kerrigan, from .pirates to Athletic ; A. G. Wakeham, from St. Patrick's College Old Boys to Marist Brothers’ Old Boys; J. Prendergast, St. Patrick’s College Old Boys t 0 Petone; D. Aitehison, from Technical College Old Boys to Wellington; R. W. Mitchell, from University to Onslow; L. H.
