PORTRAIT FUND
Successful Meeting

Boyd, presented a statement with regard to the position of the fund, showing receipts to date as £666/14/5 and expenses, £l7/3/10. The funds in hand had been deposited with the Post Office Savings Bank. It was stated that the collection books had proved a great success, and they had now all been returned to the city treasurer. Mrs. Hislop proposed that, as her Excellency, Lady Galway, when in England, would see Queen M.ary personally, she be asked to arrange for the portrait, with Lady Cynthia Colville to help, if Lady Galway so desired. This motion was carried unanimously. The executive have been advised that Mr. John St. H.
