GREAT ROMANCE OF INDUSTRY

Manufacture of Newsprint in Tasmania (Received April IS. 6.30 p.m.) Hobart, April 18. Sir Keith Murdoch, managing director of the Herald and Weekly Times Newspaper Company, Ltd., Melbourne, referring to the proposal to manufacture newsprint from woodpulp in Tasmainia, said it would be one of the great romances of Australian industry. It was hoped that the new industry would be an accomplished fact within a few weeks.
