STUDENTS’ REVIEW
In dresses typifying the artistic luxury of their particular ago, Messalina, Solome, Helen of Troy, Lucrezia Borgia, ami other notorious bealfitiew, will appear on the stage in "The Plutocrats,” one of the plays of Victoria University- College's annual revue. The rehearsals for the extravaganza are now in full swing, and the indications are that this year's show will be the bent for years. The original songs are composed by John Carrad and TV. S. Austin. There are tunes with snappy rhythm and lively melody. The ballots are also original and of a very novel character—the Dungarees ballet performed by hankers dressed in immaculate dinner jackets, dungarees and hobnails; the ballet of witches and demons; Maori girls’ ballet, and the dance of the "Devil’s Own.” “Cappicade,” the Varsity capping magazine, will be out to-day, and this year reaches a particularly high standard.
