EARLY MORNING FIGHT
Two Seamen Fined Two seamen from the Cambridge, Joseph Clarke, aged 22, and George Noons, aged 25, appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, on Saturday, and pleaded guilty to fighting in Cambridge Terrace early on Friday morning. Sub-Inspector J. A. Dempsey, who prosecuted, said that there were five other men from the Cambridge trying to stop the fight when the police arrived. It was unknown what their grievance was. Warning the men, Mr. Mos'ley imposed a fine of 10/- upon each, and costs.
