CANADA’S RESOLVE
“Will Fight Own Battles in Future” (Received April 16, 8.55 p.m.) Toronto, April 16. The Minister of Defence, Mr. lan MaeKenzie, in an address, said Hint Canada would fight her own battles in future in the traditional British manner. Instead of depending on the Monroe Doctrine for protection she proposes to place her faith in her own strength and the Empire.
