OFFICERS ELECTED
Red Cross Social Club The annual meeting of the Red Cross Social Club was held recently at the Red Cross rooms. Mr. M. S. Galloway, who presided, congratulated the president, Mrs. Dennistoun-Wood, and the members on a most successful year’s work, and expressed his appreciation of the "happy family” atmosphere which was characteristic of the club. Officers for the year were elected as follows: President, Mrs. DennistounWood; secretary, Mrs. E. G. Davies (Miramar); assistant-secretary, Mrs. Haslett; organiser, Mrs. Bunny; vicepresidents, Mesdames Macduff, Galloway, S. Myers, Angus, Little, Stevens and Lark.
In view of the great success of the Plunket Cabaret held during the week it has been decided to hold another one shortly after the coronation celebrations.
