CHARITY CONCERT
A eliiiritv concert in to be given in aid of the Wellington City Mission in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Tuesday night. 'Die performers will include llenais Gage, Wellington’s rising young singer ; Shona Bennett, champion dancer and pupil of Mins Jean Horne: the Port NiclioL’on Silver Band; Roy Baker and liin neeordion band; Sliirley Austin-Tnr-tle. brilliant young pianist; Joyce Smith, acrobat; Keith Major, tnp dancer; Marie Walker, violinist : Johnny Walker, banjoint: Y.M.C.A. clownn; Joan Ritine, toe dancer; Hazel Martin, tnp dancer; pupils of Joseph Knowsley and Jlarjorie Newport in ballets; pupils of Claude Sander and Adeline Burnette in national dancing; and pupils of Helen Gard’ner, Errol Muir and Isabel Halligan in character recitations.
