London Seats Selling Fast
"Dominion" Special Service.—By Air Alail. London, Alarch 13. It is now estimated that the total value of seats along tlie Coronation route which have been, or will be, sold to the public, will be £1,500,000. In addition, the Government seats, allocated to special bodies and organisations. will bring in about £75,000 —half their net cost. The price of individual scats remains fairly steady. There are still a few in odd corners at from 6 to 8 guineas each, but the bulk of the seats still available cost from 10 to 20 guineas. For the more favoured positions people are paying from 25 to 30 guineas, and a few have been sold at 50 guineas, which is about the top price in this country, although numbers of seats have been resold abroad. The seats for which 50 guineas have been paid are in the front, row of the Abbey stand. Others overlook the entrance to the Abbey, where the Royal procession will arrive. "M’e are selling between £6OOO and £7OOO worth of Coronation seats a week,” said the head of London’s largest agency, “and we have been doing business al about that figure every week since Christmas.
