GINGER ROGERS’S NEXT

P INGER ROGERS is to have Janies Stewart as her leading man in her next film for Radio. The picture will be a comedy, "Vivacious Lady,” and will take the place of "Mother Carey’s Chickens,” previously scheduled as Ginger’s next. "Mother Carey’s Chickens,” for which Ginger dyed her hair a darker colour, is already fully prepared and was about to go into production when Ginger was culled away to partner Fred Astaire in "Stepping Toes.” It will now follow “Vivacious Lady.” At the moment, Ginger is still busy with “Stepping Toes,” and James Stewart is playing opposite Simone Simon in "Seventh Heaven.”
