Auckland Fine and sunny, with light and variable winds from the west. Conditions were warm. The barometer was steady at 30.20 in. Christchurch.— Fine and sunny in the morning with a light north-east breeze. The wind changed to north-west in the afternoon and the sky clouded. Ths barometer, after falling slowly all day, registered 29.78 in. at 5 p.m. Dunedin. — There was a short period of sunshine this morning, but the sky was overcast, for the greater part of the day.
