PARKE ISLAND HOMES
No Decision Regarding Control Dominion Special Service. Napier, March 31. The agreement under which the. Parke Island Old J’"opl'?s' Homes have been controlled for some time past expired to-day, but up to the present no decision regarding the future control of the homes has been reached. Mr. A. E. Bedford, chairman of the J .irke Island Joint committee, said to-day that the committee appointed to consider the matter had not yet met. bui the Dannevirke and Waipawa boards, 1 'i of which are contributors, have indicated their approval of the administration being carried out in future as under the past agreement, while the Department of Health recommended Hint this be <h ’. The position now rests with the third contributing board, the Hawke’s Bay Hospital Board.
