RUSSIA AND RUMANIA
Mutual Assistance Pact Likely OLD DISPUTE SETTLED (Received April 1. 12.30 a.m.) Bucharest, March 31. The Russo-Rumanian 18-year dispute over Bessarabia has ended by the Soviet officially recognising the province as Rumanian territory.
