New South Wales Labour Sydney, March 27. 'Pile “Sydney Morning Herald” says it was made clear at the annual Easter conference of the State Labour Party that the Leader of the Federal Opposition. Mr .I. Curtin, had allied himself with Mr. .I. T. Lang. Mr. Curtin :t|> proved (lie actions of tlte Lang faction in New Soul I, Wales t hroiighout the recent Labour by declaring that tin* State Labour movement must be supreme within tile State.

'l'he proceedings at the conference showed that Mr. Lang was in complete control of the State Labour movement, and that the opposition rebel union movement was hopelessly divided. 'There was a surprise when it was announced that among those who sought readmission to the party were Messrs. J. S. Garden. R. G. Heffron, M. A. Davidson, and E. M. Horsington, members of Parliament, ttud a number of union officials were were expelled last year.
