AERO CLUB DANCE

Squadron Leader Stedman Farewelled There was a bright scene at the clubhouse at Rongotai on Saturday night, when members of the Wellington Aero Club gave a farewell dance to Squadron Leader G. L. Stedman. On behalf of the pilots, trainees, associate members, and staff, Mr. C. Bennett presented Air. and Airs. Stedman each with a rug. A new extremity of fashion has been introduced by Aliss Patricia Nelson, the daughter of Air, and Airs. W. H. Nelson, Laureston, Woodville. She has just arrived from Sydney to convalesce at her home after a severe illness. Slim in her close-fitting suit, she was a striking figure. Her fingers were tipped by amber finger-nails, a new and extremely attractive note. She will sail for Hollywood early next month, where she will carry out engagements in repertory.
