OLD AGE PENSIONS
British Government Bill London, March 23. A Government Bill designed to provide old age pensions for black coat workers and others is published. It will confer benefits on men earning up to £4OO a year and women up to £250 a year, those affected being shopkeepers, small farmers, ministers, clerks, dressmakers, music teachers, and others, whose weekly contributions w’ill be supplemented by the State. The Bill also provides for widows’ and orphans’ pensions.
