At the Victoria Park races the Sydney Cup candidate El Scnorita, 9.0. convincingly won the Victoria Park Handicap from Latharua. 8.2. Linkb-t was unplaced. El Senorita has 7.6 in the cup. Yerrapie won the second division of the Flying Handicap, while Jamieson's other candidates, Glenoraboy and Glenorapark 111, were unplaced respectively in the divisions of the Novice Juvenile events.

Wild Chase ami Night Dress have been nominated for the Manawatu meeting next month, and Haughty Winner is to go north to contest the Sires’ Produce Stakes.
