Sydney, March 23. The Acting Chief Film Censor. Lieutenant-Colonel L. J. Hurley, stated that the newsreel item depicting rhe Duke of Windsor ski-ing would not be shown in any part of Australia “The film was considered to be of a character uot desirable for the screen.” he said. “I cannot comment further than that.” The “Daily Telegraph” says it was revealed in a high official quarter that certain Empire Governments, including Australia, have agreed that it is not regarded as desirable that the Duke of Windsor should be seen on films until after the coronation.
