Hospital Board and Local

Bodies A decision to meet a committee of the contributory local bodies to discuss the new hospital building scheme further was made by the 'Wellington Hospital Board last night. The scheme was outlined to the local bodies on Monday afternoon, when the desire was expressed for further information, the contributory organisations suggesting that the board appoint a committee to meet a committee representing them. The board appointed the chairman, Mr. J. Glover, and Messrs. A. H. Carman, chairman of its building committee, and E. Castle, to confer with the local bodies’ committee. The hospital superintendent, Dr. A. R. Thorne, will also attend. The DirectorGeneral of Health, or his deputy, will also be invited to be present.
