APOLLO WOMEN’S CLUB
The members of the Apollo Women’s Club held the first meeting of the year recently. The attendance was not as large as usual owing to so many members being in England. After the business was completed, Mrs. Clayton, accompanied by Miss Bessie Ferguson, sang two songs and Mrs. Poynton recited some humorous items. Miss Douglas, accompanied by Miss Russell, also sang, all the items being very much enjoyed. Supper served by*Mrs. H. Temple White, Mrs. Walshe and Mrs. H. Thomas brought the evening to a close.
