Visitors to Wellington Miss Lenna Hartshorne, Opotiki, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs I G. Glennie, Auckland, will arrive’ at Wellington to-day for a holiday visit. . Mrs. P. L. Porter, Christchurch, will arrive' to-day to spend Easter in Wellington. Mrs G. Bernard Hill, Christchucrh, is visiting Mrs. George Craig, Wellington. Mrs. Melville Jamieson, London, is staying at the Midland Hotel, Wellington. Mrs. E. R. Cargill and Mrs. E. Suttrell are Christchurch visitors to Wellington. On Holiday Mr. and Mrs. Cory Wright left Wellington last night for the south. Mrs. Colin Clayton, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. F. B. Hearn, Wellington, is at the Central Hotel, Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Colvin, Wellington, are visiting Tiinaru. Mrs. M. O’Connor is a Wellington visitor to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce, Wellington, arc visiting Tim.nru, and are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel.

Dr. and Mrs. J. Du Maurier, Wellington, are staying at the Central Hotel! Auckland.

Mrs. W. Reesby, Petone, is spending a holiday at Inglewood, where she is the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs. F. A. Reesby. Mrs. Randall Reid, Maharahara, is at present visiting relatives in the South Island.

Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Bennett, Hawkestone Street, have left by car for Whangarei to visit their daughter, Miss Amo Bennett.

Miss Rona Rutherford, Wellington, is the guest of Miss Stephanie Scott, Christchurch. Miss Rutherford will be chief bridesmaid at the Banks —Scott wedding on April 3.

Easter Holidays Miss Jose Anderson, Wellington, will be the guest of Mrs. Edward Elworthy, Timaru, for Easter. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Vine, Wellington, will spend Easter with the Misses Vine, Tiinaru. Mr. and Mrs. Harbottle, Wellington, will leave by car on Friday for a visit to Masterton. Miss Patricia Gilmer will leave at the week-end by air for Blenheim to join Miss Margaret Churchward's house party in the Sounds for the Easter holidays. Mrs. L. Hunt, Fitzherbert Terrace, and her aunt, Mrs. Faull, Auckland, will leave Wellington to-day to spend Easter at Wairakei and Taupo. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Pettit will leave Wellington to-day to spend Easter with Mr. and Mrs. E. A. J. Elliott, “Glenelg,” Waipukurau. Returned Home Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Revington have returned to Christchurch from a holiday spent in Wellington and on the West Coast. Miss Alison Mulinder, of Otawhao, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, has returned home. Mrs. 8. B. Fairbrother and Miss Hazel Fairbrother have returned to Maharahara, after spending a short holiday at Napier.

Returned to Wellington Mrs. W. L. Ward has returned to Wellington from a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. P. Richardson Grant, Melling Hill, Lower Hutt, have returned from a tour of the North Island. Mr. and Mrs. B. Sutherland, “Homewood,” Karori, have returned to Wellington from the south. Mrs. Mary Murray Fuller, who has been on a health recruiting visit to the South Island, returned to 'Wellington yesterday. She has taken a furnished flat at 291 A Willis Street. While in the south, Mrs. Fuller met Mr. J. S. Lamorna Birch, R.A., aud his wife at Waihemo, Shag Valley, where they have been having a most enjoyable sketching and fishing holiday. They will not be returning to Wellington until after Easter. Probably Mr. Birch will be prevailed upon to give a show of his New Zealand work in the'National Art Gallery before be leaves New Zealand. He has done some splendid painting over a wide range of scenic subjects. Back From Overseas Miss L. Watson returned to New Zealand by tbe Awatea, after spending some time in India. She left Wellington yesterday en route for Invercargill. Going Abroad Mrs. George Dunston, Bexley, Sydney, who has been the guest of Mrs. G. Earle Adams, Epsom, Auckland, left on Monday for a tour of Hawke’s Bay and Tauranga en route to 'Wellington, where she will sail for England and Ireland.
