Couple Earn Living By Marriages

A' collide who have been making a comfortable living out of getting married again and again have just ueen discovered by the Prussian police. Knowing that, orphans about to marry will always get. help and wedding gifts, I tie coupie decided to exploit the good-hearted, and formed an alliance with several other crooks, including a marriage broker and a fictitious priest. They sent out agents begging gifts, and invited all those who gave anything to the wedding. But the wedding was always held in some remote place out of Warsaw, and few people ever got there. Recently, however, one of the donors happened to be iu the town where the "wedding” was to take place, and attended the ceremony. To his astonish men! ho found that the bride and bridegroom wore two orphans he bad seen married only a week earlier. The couple confessed that they had already played tills trick 500 times.
