After one of the most successful seasons in tourist history, the Milford Track will bo closed on April 6. There are heavy bookings for Easter, when the last parties in any considerable number will be making the trip from the head of Lake Te Anau to the Sound. The last date on which it is possible to leave Christchurch to make the trip is March 28. The track lias been extraordinarily popular this year. Among its most enthusiastic patrons were some 80 passengers from the Mara ma, who, on successive trips, were landed at Milford and made the track their introduction to’ the scenic beauties of tie Jjaminiaa,
