CHILDREN’S PARTY

Wellington Caledonian Society The annual children’s party of the Wellington Caledonian Society, held recently. was attended b.v a large number of children, accompanied b.v their parents. The party was to have been held before Christmas, but was postponed on account of the infantile paralysis epidemic. The children made the most of the occasion. They were regaled with the good things appropriate to a party, and each was presented with a gift. Miss Lulu Clark and Mr. W. A. Blair kept the fun going merrily, and a number of the children contributed items. Misses Joy Vnrdey and Joyce Graham gave exhibitions of tap dancing. Patricia Clements gave a clog dance. Merle McClymont the sailor’s hornpipe, Albert McGowan a piano solo, Shirley Turtle a monologue, and Teddy Clements a recitation.

After supper the adults danced to music provided by Mrs. McGowan and Pipe-Major C. Stewart, Mr. J. Stirling was M.C.

The next gathering will be a piping contest for the Nimmo Cup, to be followed by a dance.
