HAWKE’S BAY CLUB’S NEW SECRETARY
Mr. E. A. Wishart Chosen ONE OF NEW ZEALAND'S YOUNGEST OFFICIALS Dominion Special Service. Hastings, March 12. No fewer than 26 applications were received for the position of secretary to rhe Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club, and of this number three were selected for an interview at a meeting of the committee of the club. The successful applicant was Mr. E. A. Wishart, of Inglewood, who is scheduled to take over his duties on April 1. The new secretary, who is 32'years of age, will rank as one of the .youngest racing club secretaries in the Dominion. He at present holds the position of clerk of the Inglewood County Council.
