BRADFORD TOPS MARKET
Prices Hardening By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—-Copyright. London, March 11. The Bradford tops market is very firm. There is little new business owing to the topmakers quoting higher prices. Latest quotations compare with those previously cabled as follows: —
Wright. Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., received cable advice from their Bradford agent, as follows :—Merino and fine crossbred tops are Id. up, while medium and coarse crossbred tops are Id. to }d. up, the rise being due to the strength of the raw material market. There is a fair amount of inquiry and a moderate amount of business is passing.
