Tragedy at Santa Monica

New York, February 25.
A message from Palm Springs, California. states that Humphrey Pearson, 40, a widely-known film writer, was found shot dead in bed at his desert cottage at Santa Monica. A sheriff found his wife hysterical in the same bed as the corpse, unable to give a clear account of events preceding the tragedy.
