Continuous heavy rain ill the early afternoon caused a postponement of piaj in the Wanganui Croquet Association’s annual tourney. Following are the results ot the games played : — Open championship: Mrs. Cadwallader beat Mrs. Lowery, 26-23; D. McClymont beat Mrs. Cadwallader, 26-11; Mrs. J.-irvie beat Mrs. Walker, 2G-17 ; C. La Roche beat Mrs. Amies, 26-1(1; W. 1-’. Jarvic boat .1. L. Harrison, 26 3. Women’s lirs’t life: Mrs. Caldow beat Mrs. Ryan. 26-15; Mrs. Walker beat Mrs. McClymont, 26 24; Mrs. Leadbetter beat Mrs. L. Bassett, 2G-23.
Second life: Mrs. McClymont beat Mrs Gainbrill, 26-22.
Men's: A. J. Gibbs bent W. F. Jarvie, 26-11.
