At the Feilding stock sale to-day 30,000 sheep were yarded, and Lor good quality breeding ewes the market was firm. Twotooths reached 48/2. For luwer-iv outlied ewes, the market was slightly easier. The sale opened sluggishly, but brightened later, and a full clearance was made. A small entry of fat cattle sold at late rates. Boners were slightly easier. Fat cattle; Cows, £3/15/- to £B/2/6; P.A. cows', £7/15/- to £7/18/-; heifers. £3/10/- to £3/16/-; I’.A. heifers, to £7 12/6; Jersey steers, to £6/5/-; vealers, £2 to £2/14/-. Dairy cattle: Springing cows, £4 to £6/17/6; springing heifers, £3/1/- to £6/7/6; Jersey bulls, £2/6/- to £5/3/-; weaner heifers, £2 to £3. Store cattle: Cows. 30/- to £5; empty cows, £2 19/- to £5/8/6; heifers, £2 to £2/16/-; empty heifers, £3. Sheep: Breeding ewes, twu-tootbs, 24/9 to 48/2; b.f.’s, 21/9, to 25/7; four-year, 26/9 to 31/3; four and five-year, 21/- to 29/-; five-year, 15/- to 30/-; five and sixyear, 22/6 to 24/-; 5.ni.,13/6 to 23/6; i'.m.. 22/9; four and six-tooth. 30/4 to 34/9; six-tooth to five-year, 30/4; ewe lambs. 32/3.
