A reception and welcome to Sir Harry Lauder will be given by the Scots of AVellingtou on Thursday evening in the Masonic Hall. Sir Harry will he piped into the hail and received by the heads of the AVellington Caledonian, Burns, Gaelic, Scots ’ Social, and St. Andrew Burns Clubs, and officially welcomed by the chairman of the AA’ellington Association of Scots Societies, Air. J. G. Mackenzie. Though organised through the societies ajt Scots are invited to participate m this reception. A first-class concert P ro " gramme has been arranged, to be followed by a danee until midnight. Supper will be served by the women’s social committee of the societies.
