St. John Ambulance Screening
On ff’hursday evening the St. John Ambulance Association’s films were screened before an audience of about 120, representing the nursing staff and male attendants of Wellington Public Hospital. inspectors of the city traffic department, and male aud female first aid candidates, ff'he St. John Ambulance Brigade was represented by Mr. F. W. Ward, and Mr. W. W. Dutton, district superintendent, and Mrs. C. Gaby, lady corps officer, was also present. Motion pictures outlining the digestive tract and the general structure of the stomach, artificial respiration, the skin, and the house fly, proved of great interest to those present.
At the conclusion of the meeting Mr. F. W. Ward congratulated the association on its initiative in procuring these films, which, he said, he considered were of invaluable assistance in the teaching of physiology.
