Coronation Arrangements
ABBEY PILGRIMAGES By Telegraph.—Press Assu. —Copyright. (Received February 25. 8 p.m.) London, February 24. Coronation crowds will see three separate processions both to and from Westminster Abbey. The first will consist of foreign princes and princesses, 20 of whom have already signified their intention to be present. The second will comprise carriages of princes and princesses of the Royal blood.
The third, preceded by the Sovereigns. will be th e King’s procession, in which the first will be members of the Royal households and representatives of the services, and then the State coach. The King and Queen will wear crowns on the return journey, when the King will hold the sceptre with a cross in the right hand and an orb in the left. The Queen will carry a sceptre with a cross in the right hand and an ivory rod with Jove in the left. FREE STATE STAND “Detachment and Protest” London, February 24. Questioned in the Dail Eireann. Mr. de Valera defined the attitude of the Irish Free State toward the coronation as one of “detachment and protest while Ireland remained partitioned and discrimination was exercised against the religion to which so many Irishmen belonged.”
SPEAKER TO REPRESENT HOUSE OF COMMONS

The House of Commons will be represented al the eorronation, according to the King’s desire, by the Speaker, Captain A. Fitzroy. Thus the House will not go to the Abbey in the procession in its corporate capacity.
