OFFICERS ELECTED
Federated Builders and Contractors By Telegraph—Press Association. Tiniaru, February 25. Mr. W. Petrie, of Timaru, was unanimously elected president of the New Zealand Federated Builders and Contractors’ Association at the annual conference to-day. Other officers elected were: Vice-president, Mr. J. W. Andrews (Lower Hutt) ; executive, Messrs. W. Parkin, W. Clark, A. Fletcher, and G. Dick (Wellington); exofficio members of the executive, Messrs. A. Fraser (Wellington), V. Coyle (Auckland), N. Webb (Christchurch), and D. O’Connell (Dunedin); honorary auditors, Messrs. A. B. Fraser and P. C. Watj (Wellington) ; trustees, Messrs. W. Parkin and W. Mill (Wellington); representative on New Zealand Employers' Federation advisory board, Mr. W. Mill (Wellington). Tributes to the splendid work of. the retiring president were paid by Messrs. Petrie and Andrews, Mr. Mill being accorded a vote of thanks.
It was unanimously decided to accept, an invitation from the Palmerston North association to hold the next conference in-that city.
