FAREWELL TEA

In honour of his mother, Mrs. M. Searle, who will leave for England to visit her daughter, Mrs. McCulloch, Mr. George Searle gave a delightful party at James Smith’s tea rooms yesterday afternoon to enable some of her friends to extend to her their best wishes for a pleasant trip. The long table, covered with a jade green cloth, was made gay with baskets of vividly coloured zinnias.
