A feature of to-day’s wool sales was the keen demand for choice, fine sorts, Yorkshire buyers being the largest operators.
A total of 12,165 bales was offered, 11,420 bales being sold at auction and 1085 privately. The market ruled at the best points of the week. A line of greasy merino made 33Jd.
