Factor For World Peace (British Official Wireless.) Rugby. February 24. Speaking in London to-day, the President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Walter Runciman, referred- to the benefits which would arise from a parallel alignment of the British and United States trade policies, and expressed the hope that the time was at hand when they would each s,ay that freer exchange of commodities and services between the countries of the world was the best thing that could happen to the world. Freer trade, as Mr. Cordell Hull had said, would be a great contribution to peace. The Anglo-Canadian Trade Agreement, the conclusion of which was recently announced by the Governor-Gen-eral of Canada in a speech from the Throne, was signed yesterday in Ottawa. and the text will be published in a few days.
