SUNDAY CONCERT

The Port Nicholson Silver Band held another of its popular combined picture and musical entertainments at the _ De Luxe Theatre, Wellington, last night. The picture was the clever Pinero comedy "The Magistrate,” screened under the title of ‘‘Those Were the Daye,” with Will Day. Marguerite Allan, Jimmy Godden and' Claude Allieter.

The musical part of the programme was: March. “On Tour”; raise. “Vienna, City of My Dreams”; and march, “Constellation.” The band was conducted by Mr. J. J. Drew. Mr. G. Alton Christie (tenor) sang “Without a Song,’’ “The White Dove” and “I'm Alone Because I Love You.”
