Professor Leaves Roosevelt Administration (Received November 18, 10.55 p.m.) New Vork, November 18. The Washington correspondent of the ‘‘New York Times” says that Professor Rexford Tugwell has submitted his resignation as Under-Secretary of Agriculture and head of the Resettlement Administration, to President Roosevelt, who is reported to have accepted it. He departed for Buenos Aires, however, without releasing his acceptance. It is believed that Professor Tugwell desires to return to his former professorial duties at Columbia University.
