Aliss Al. Al. Durrad, Wellington, left London by the Otranto on October 24, on her return to New Zealand. Airs. Dransfield and Aliss E. Dransfield left England on October 24 for Auckland by the Otranto. Mrs. F. D. Carter, Prebbleton, Christchurch, arrived at A5 7 ellington yesterday to be the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs. H. Hay-Barclay. Airs. St. George Lindsay, Switzerland, who has been visiting AVellington, has left New Zealand for Trinidad.

Major-General Sir John and Lady Davidson are passengers on the Otranto, which left Tilbury for New Zealand on October 24. Airs, Hugh Herd, AVellington, who has been the guest of Airs. R. Hatrick and Airs. J. Alillward, AVanganui, has gone on to Auckland. News has been received that Aliss Gwenethe Walshe, of Wellington, has passed the Imperial Society of Ballroom Dancing examination in London.

Charles Harrison, Wellington, has returned home. after spending a long holiday with her parents, Air. and Airs. Al. O’Connell, Christchurch. Atkinson, York Bay, who has spent the past 22 months in England, returned yesterday as a passenger to AVellington in the Wanganella. Airs. E. P. Bunny, Lower Hutt, who has been Mrs. Dudley Kettle’s guest at Napier, is now visiting Air. and Mrs. R. Orton, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui.
