Sentence at Hamilton

Bv Telegraph—lt<w Association Hamilton, November 18.

A sentence of five months’ imprisonment with hard labour was imposed by Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court at Hamilton this morning on Wallace Robert Boyd, storekeeper. Putaruru. who was found guilty al the August session of the court of receiving eight motor tires. The case was submitted to the Court of Appeal for a ruling on a point of law, and tile conviction was upheld.
