OFFICIAL SOUVENIR OF CORONATION

Full Text of Service Tlie British Trade Commissioner in Wellington has been informed that King Edward VIII, has given permission for the official souvenir programme of his coronation to be prepared by King George’s Jubilee Trust. Among other items the programme will contain a special message from His Majesty to the Empire, and the full text of tlie coronation service. Tlie principal, and indeed unique, object in view in producing this official programme is to enable His Majesty’s subjects throughout the world to follow the broadcast of the coronation service from Westminster Abbey on May 12 next word for word. The programme will, therefore, be distributed throughout His Majesty’s Dominions, Crown Colonies and Mandated Territories in advance of coronation day. Distribution is being arranged in the first place through the ordinary trade channels. The proceeds from the sale of the programme will be devoted to the trust, and a short description of its work included in the publication. The price has been kept as low as possible consistent wit It the desirability of providing a souvenir programme worthy of the occasion.
