APOLLO WOMEN’S CLUB

The Apollo Women’s Club held their usual monthly meeting in the University Women’s Club rooms recently. The president welcomed another new member. All present looked forward to the lecture by Mrs. Teasdale Billington and her daughter Joyce. Many valuable and helpful hints were given on the care of the hair at different times of the year and a number of the members received a practical demonstration on the art of “make-up” and facial treatment. A hearty vote of thanks was extended to Mrs. Billington and Joyce for their very instructive lecture. A dainty supper, served by Mrs. Calvert and the Misses Calvert, brought the evening to a close.
