GOLF COMPETITIONS

Waiwetu Club A Hag competition played at Waiwetu on Saturday afternoon was won by A. G Sltinnell. who holed out on the 18th green. Stroke rounds during the week-end produced a number of good cards, the best being A. R. Lusty. 83-20-63, followed by A. G. StunneH, Sl-19-65; R. G. Holland. 71-2-69; H. C. Ribbands. 73-4-69; and «L B Wallace, 79-7-72. Holland was In good form on Sunday afternoon, completing the course in 71. going out in 38 and returning in 33. Next Saturday afternoon a bogey round over 18 holes will be played, and on Sunday the usual bogey rounds for cup points will be completed.
